Volunteers
Volunteers are an essential part of Ochiba~Con as we are a volunteer-run organization. They are the reason we are able to put on our event each year, and we depend on the physical support of our volunteer team. We are always looking for motivated people to join our forces to put on a great event!
Types Of Volunteers
Special Operations (Spec Ops)
This is convention security. The duties include checking badges, answering questions, crowd control, and general security duties.
Information Specialist (Info Specs)
Info Specs runs the information booth and provides tour guides for those trying to find their way around the convention. They provide attendees with information about the convention and the surrounding area.
Volunteer Hours And Shifts
| Saturday Shifts | 9 am - 2 pm | 2 pm - 7 pm | 7 pm - 12 am |
| Sunday Shifts | 9 am - 2 pm | 2 pm - 6 pm |
- Shifts are four hours (with the exception of the last Sunday shift) with an hour break in the middle of your shift to enjoy the convention.
